Not even a week after his prognosis and he's gone. I can't imagine the depts of grief aunt Laurie and Jeff, Caleb and Lucas are feeling right now. Here is a link to his Obituary (not sure how long it will be stored in this location?)

I am so glad we were able to go to Kanab for the funeral. The speakers blew me away. All three boys spoke and had everyone in awe. It was amazing what they could pull together and do in just a couple short days. We were also constantly shaking our heads and blinking tears at the way the town revered Boone and his family. The musical number during the funeral, sang by the Hulet and White siblings, had it right, "Each Life That Touches Ours for Good". Boone was such a good man. Such a wonderful uncle to me. I loved how he always sparkled at mischief. During my parents talk they mentioned a couple memories I had of him: I remember the day he and Laurie got married. Jeff and I argued over who was cooler, my new uncle, or his new dad. That same day, I fell in love with Boone and his quick smile and willing heart, and matter-of-fact personality. I also loved visiting with him during his recent visits to SLC as we chatted about books, religion and politics. My heart melted when I heard he finally got his Patriarchal blessing and temple recommend shortly before he passed away. He left quite the legacy, and incredible memories that many will never forget.
Love you, Boone.
