I absolutely LOVE Christmas morning. No arguing, no belligerence, no avoiding, no whining... Just kind words, sharing, helping, smiles, laughter and lots and lots of love.
In addition to the completion of a wonderful blessed year... BJ and I were lucky enough to get new cell phones, to which I have resolved to at least double my blog posts from last year (shouldn't be to hard with Siri helping me, right?) AJ got a skateboard and "urban" snowboard ("urban" sounds much cooler than "plastic") Ashlyn got a portable CD player (yes, they are still made although pretty hard to find...) with a beginners collection of CDs. Carson got the remote control helicopter that he has been coveting since AJ got one last Christmas. With a couple other smaller things the day was once again dubbed, the best Christmas EVER!, by all three monkeys. The rest of the day was spent with family and loved ones and joy and laughter. No friction. No tears. Just love.

I absolutely love the whole Christmas season and the opportunities we take, more so than the rest of the year, to think of the birth and life of our savior. I am so grateful for him and the role he plays I'm my life.
