Carson has been so excited to take piano lessons. He has been antsy to start since Ashlyn quit a while ago (Grandma Linda was teaching her but we quit in the summer when she wanted to take soccer). For Christmas we got our boys music lessons and Ash a guitar (with prospects of lessons in the future) but the boys lessons were set up and scheduled. Today was Carsons first lesson. Our neighbor Maddie, who is a YW in our ward, agreed to take Carson on as her first student, and I couldn't be happier! We Love Maddie (actually, we love the whole Garrett family!) and are so excited for her to take Carson down this musical journey. She even refused payment and is taking the first couple months of lessons as an opportunity towards her YW personal progress goals. How amazing is she?! I'm so glad she asked me to come to the first lesson so could watch them in action. Carson actually made so much progress for his first lesson, I'm so impressed!
