The 6th grade teachers at Foothills Elementary host an end of year "Art Show" each year. Kids have the opportunity to bring any of their handmade creations to school to display for other classes, and parents to peruse. The night before, Ash was in a frantic search for anything of quality that she had created that she could present. She found a few different things she had made over the course of 6th grade that she was willing to display, but then apparently she changed her mind because nothing that she got out was on her desk when I showed up. Instead, she had torn these pages out from a doodle book she had. All except the top left pink cat, are Ashlyn's creations. It was fun to see all the work the 6th graders made. I think she is going to love junior high, but will miss these kinds of elements that you only get in Elementary School. Let the countdown to 7th grade begin!
