Happy Birthday?

Today is the birthday of [the late]Great-Grandpa-Joe. AJ asked if we could go visit his grave and have a birthday party.
Sure.
Why not?

They each made him a card.  Carson did the typical 3 year-old scribble with every color possible, Ashlyn made a hand turkey and AJ made a Smiley face and wrote, "I miss you, I wish you didn't have to die, ps, I love you.  {heart}AJ."

They put their little cards on his grave, sang Happy Birthday then AJ played a song on his harmonica. It was a somber moment.  Then we had donuts.
